Why this organisation, and why now
A funder is not backing a concept. The model is running, the plan is priced and the reporting discipline is already in place.
A costed plan, not an idea
Construction is priced line by line in the Kirinya project BOQ, with drawings and a phased funding structure.
A live enterprise already trading
Nono Caring Hearts Foundation products are produced and sold today, so training happens on real batches for real buyers.
Founder-led and locally rooted
Led by Pastor Matilde Nono, working directly with the women, girls and youth the model serves.
A pathway, not a course
Reach, train, practise, produce, earn, launch, grow — support follows trainees to income.
Honest reporting discipline

The challenge
What is holding the work back
Three constraints decide how many women and young people can move from skills to income.
Capacity is capped by space
Training and production run in a very limited space, which limits intake size and makes safe, consistent production difficult.
Equipment limits what can be taught
Without production and training equipment, several trade areas cannot be delivered at the standard buyers expect.
Graduates need a first step
Skills alone do not create income. Start-up kits, mentoring and market access decide whether a graduate earns.

Earned income is designed to carry a growing share of running costs, so partnership builds independence rather than dependence.

Partner with Nono Caring Hearts Foundation
Not every partner is a donor.
Nono Caring Hearts Foundation is building a model that combines practical skilling, production, enterprise and pathways toward income. Partners contribute to that model in different ways — and the strongest partnerships are rarely cheques alone.

Fund
Capital that builds capacity.
Support training, equipment, infrastructure and programme development.
Financial partnership funds defined parts of the Nono Caring Hearts Foundation model — a construction phase, an equipment area, a training cohort, or programme delivery. Every figure is confirmed in writing before commitment.

Buy
Procurement that trains people.
Purchase Nono Star products commercially.
Schools, hotels, hospitals, offices, retailers and households buying Nono Star products is the most durable form of support — earned income that sustains the training cycle every month.
03
Host
Where training meets opportunity.
Provide placements or work opportunities for trained participants where appropriate.
Partners who can offer internships, apprenticeships, work placements or employment give graduates a first step into income. Selection remains entirely with the host organisation.

Equip
Tools that define what can be taught.
Provide equipment, tools, technology or technical resources.
In-kind equipment — new, refurbished or donated — for production, bakery, tailoring, beauty, dairy and other training areas. A confirmed equipment schedule is agreed with each partner.

Train
Expertise that raises the standard.
Provide technical expertise, mentorship or specialist training.
Specialist trainers, quality systems, curriculum design, food safety, business skills and production know-how. Mentorship is arranged around trainee schedules and safeguarding.

Distribute
Markets that make production sustainable.
Help Nono Star reach new markets.
Distribution channels, retail shelf space, export linkages, institutional supply contracts and market introductions move Nono Star from training output to traded brand.

Collaborate
Programmes built together.
Develop programmes with Nono Caring Hearts Foundation.
Co-design funding programmes, research, curriculum, certification pathways or joint initiatives that combine a partner's expertise with Nono Caring Hearts Foundation's community presence and enterprise model.
